Amanda and Brian were an awesome couple to work with but their wedding day will not be forgotten any time soon in my book. 🙂 It was a beautiful wedding held at the Harmony Golf Preserve in Florida, which was an absolutely fantastic location and venue. This was my first time photographing there but I already cannot wait to shoot there again. Amanda and Brian chose to see each other before the ceremony, which I sometimes recommend, as it makes for some amazing moments of just the two of them in private. We shot some wonderful images and so far the weather was great all day, right up until the ceremony started. The ceremony was held out by the lake which was extremely beautiful. However, as they started to walk down the aisle, the sky poured down its fury upon us. My assistants tried their best to cover me while I was shooting but we all got completely soaked when the wind kicked up. But as they say in the theatre, “the show must go on!” They tried to rush and say their “I do’s” as fast as possible while I struggled to keep my lenses dry and from fogging up. It definitely was not easy, but I think we got some great images that they will cherish forever. They certainly have a great story to tell of their wet wedding day.
Amanda and Brian later asked if we could do a “post wedding” session out by the lake since the rain interfered on their wedding day. Below are some of my favorites from both days and as you can see in the photos, the sunset was amazing! We loved working with Amanda and Brian and look forward to working with them in the future.
